Pokeumans: Angie's Hero
She was in a cage, treated like some sort of animal. It had been a week since she had transformed into a Pokémon, a Flaaffy to be exact. She was being used for her electricity powers by a rogue group of extinctionists, who had separated from Pokéxtinction for their own purposes. They were underground in the woods somewhere. "Please…let me out…I wanna go home…" she moaned. One of the men kicked her cage, sending her to the floor. "Shut up you animal! You belong to us! You have no more family, no more friends, and you are a freak of nature! Now you better keep the electricity flowing, or else we'll dispose of you!

PokeBrawlers Tournament: First Battle
David stood in the canyon, scared, but prepared. At least, he thought so. His first opponent would be Nathan the Pidgeot while he hadn't met Nathan in person before, he had heard of him. They both lived in the Long Island Pokéumans Base, and word of the PRT got around almost instantly. David had actually been hoping to join the PRT...helping rescue people from an evil organization and helping them adapt to their changes was like three dream jobs in one to him. He hoped that this match would show whether or not he was up to scratch.
He looked around the canyon, trying to get a feel for the area. He would be going up against a Flying

The five friends were all relaxing in Chris' room. The room itself was made for ground types, as there was no water anywhere near it, and the floor was a thin layer of sand. The beds, and couch were rocks, with decorative cushions on them, and the room was generally sand, rocks, and dirt. Alana the Eevee and Storym the Shelgon were on the couch, and Chris the Marowak, Kyle the Vibrava, and Justin the Houndoom were on the floor in front of them playing videogames on Chris' T.V. The one life shoot-out of Halo had been going on for easily ten minutes, and Justin was down to the last bit in his health bar.

Pokeumans Contest Round 1 Entry
In the National Pokéuman Contest Association’s Stadium, one contestant for the First Round stood, waiting for his turn to present. Randell the Absol, or Randy as he’d been going by recently, had been the one to convince Alana to join the Contest, and she had agreed on the terms that he perform the solo.
Randy had readily agreed.
So now, he waited to go out into the arena, barely able to contain his excitement. Randy was a performer at heart, and had no qualms about being on stage. He’d spent weeks honing his move set to fit together perfectly. Then, he had practiced and practiced his act, and now he was ready. He sat in th

Part 6: Goodnight, Travel Well
-Cassie-
Cassie could feel the anticipation. The time was 11:55 (am). Soon enough, or so the others had told her, they’d be able to undo this whole mess and then she could get back to her own life and see her friends again. Soon.
If she was being honest with herself, she was apprehensive about the whole thing. She didn’t actually know, for herself, whether this was a guaranteed solution or just their best guess. But to be honest, when she looked at it, a good guess is better than nothing, and everyone was agreed on it. And she’d seemingly taken that method to get here, so she may as well try

Chapter 9 - Portal
The fall didn't last for long. Shawn, Patrick, and I landed uncomfortably on some cheap mattresses after about ten seconds of falling. I looked around at the bleak, sparsely furnished room. The only things in the room were the mattresses and a couple chairs in the corner. I could see a door on the opposite side of the room. Looking at Shawn and Patrick, I asked, "Everyone sti

Powerless (Village Contest) Part 1
“Woohoo! That was AWESOME! I am so glad I went with you to Cali! How come we never went before?”
From hundreds of miles up in the air, a First-Class Plane flew over the United States of America. The Passengers of the Plane? Only a few several people were on board. Most of them, Pokeumans, Most of them.
On board the Plane, close to the front of First Class, sat two of these Pokeumans.
“Now that we’re heading back home, I’ll be able to brag to everyone that I won the Local Tournament!” Spouted an Umbreon with red-rings and a matching colored scarf looking out the window. Despite his sinister looks, the Umb

"May I have you attention, please." An authoritative voice declared over the PA system. "At this time all persons should make their way to the auditorium for the scheduled post-conflict meeting."
That announcement had come as no surprise to Delilah, or anybody else she knew in the Arizona Pokeuman base. Yesterday had seen the base survive an enormous attack from Pokextinction which had completely overwhelmed the defending Pokeuman Rescue Troopers on security, and required the marshaling of everybody who could do anything beyond basic Scratching and

Battle Brawlers Round Two: Bartholomew vs Michael
Bartholomew vs Michael
Bartholomew was absolutely giddy. For possibly the first time in this competition, everything was going as planned. He sat outside the supermarket, awaiting the return of his competitor with the box. Laughing, he connected telepathically with the mut who was currently putting his humanizing ring to work.
“How is the pup doing?”
Bartholomew felt the Furfrou’s frustration and his meager attempt to throw the Espeon’s presence back. “Do you have to invade my thoughts?”
“I wouldn’t want you to get lonely, now, would I?”
“Well, you’re not helping.” T

Part 5: Fast And Slow
-Diana-
"And that's the way we found to solve this," I concluded and sat back, almost perching upon the chair I'd been stood in front of the whole time. For some reason, I felt exhausted.
The four Pokeumans before me (I personally refused to buy into counting Mike as double, even if he was a Doduo) were silent. I could almost hear the mental cogs turned as they tried to register this information. Eddie the Lucario and Mike had opened their mouths to ask questions repeatedly as I spoke but Jupiter and Felicia kept shushing them down, both listening carefully. Now we were at the end I stood back a little, feeling their

‘…Ok, ok, ok, done that. We’ve got rid of the damn thing. Is she awake yet?’
‘I dunno, we should probably check on her.’
‘Oh please, she’ll be fine. We know that. I was just wondering if she’d come round yet.’
I groaned softly, trying not to draw attention to myself as bits slowly filtered into my consciousness. The floor was hard on the side of my head. Who were these voices? I didn’t recognise them. In fact… What was up with them? They both sounded exactly the same – if I didn’t know better (and at this stage, I don

Wait. Why does my hand feel so weird?
I opened my eyes, and then there was a terrifying second where I was in a foreign room with unknown people and a strange body. Then through the fog of sleepy forgetfulness came great crashing chunks of recollection and I realised what was going on.
I looked up at Jess standing at my bedside. “Oh. Sorry. For a minute there I forget what… happened.”

“Woah, woah, woah,” the Mightyena said. 'Tell me that one again.'
I sighed. 'My name's Cameron,’ I repeated. ‘'There's been some sort of massive screw-up and I seem to have swapped bodies with your friend Diana. I'd say I'm sorry, but that implies some sort of malicious intent on my part. Right now, I feel like I could sleep for a year. Anything else?'
It was about half an hour after... the event. Eyan had taken charge and taken me to find Diana's friends, since they had a right to know what was going on, and I had spent a while explaining what little I knew of the situation to her associ

‘What, again? The last time wasn’t even that long ago.’
Jess the Togetic shrugged. ‘Well, I’m just the messenger. I’m just passing on the news. But to be honest, are you really surprised?’
I just smiled. ‘So, Alex wants to get his butt kicked again does he? Fine then, tomorrow’s fine for me. Do it in the morning, I don’t want it to spoil my lunch.’ I held up one of my Ampharos paws and allowed electricity to crackle around it to underline my point. “WHAT?! WHERE ARE THE BERRIES?"
Adrian grumbled, and stared at a patch of grass beside the shelter – now with nothing on it.
"Darn it," he sighed, and looked around. "Some animal must've taken it away…. And they were the last berries in that bush as well…"
"Now I really know what it's like to be an animal in the woods trying to survive against everybody else…"
Adrian looked up to the rising sun in the horizon, its rays breaking into the night sky and creating an array of vibrant hues in the natural canvas. He gazed up, admiring the sunrise. Despite being woken up ab
