It’s that time of year again, everyone. That’s right! It’s time to cast your votes for the 2015 Pokeuman Awards!
Here’s how it’s gonna go down: in the comments section of this journal, you may vote one story for each category, so long as it’s been started this year (leniency will be given for those starting near the end of December 2014). Don’t want to vote for each category? You don’t have to! Just vote for the ones you feel like. (Note: for “Most Helpful Admin/Member”, please vote for a person based on what they’ve done for the group this year, not based on any writing/art they may have done.)
On December 31st at 11:59 pm EST, the voting will be closed. Any comments posted after that will not count towards the outcome of the awards.

Best Spinoff of 2015: Your favorite spinoff that you’ve read this year!
Best Concept: The story that had the most unique plot, or presented itself in a different way from the other spinoffs (not necessarily a comic).
Best Oneshot: Your favorite spinoff that is a self-contained work.
Best Slow Updated/Hiatus’ed Story: Your favorite spinoff that has long waiting times between chapter uploads. (Don’t vote for Brandon’s Original Series here. These awards are for spinoffs, not the real thing!)
Best Action Sequence: The spinoff that had that one really cool moment where the guy did the thing.
Most Believable Characters: The spinoff that made you care about and relate with the characters the most.
Most Emotional: The spinoff that made you feel. Anger, sadness, disgust, relief, etc.
Biggest Surprise: The spinoff that caught you off guard the most.
Funniest Story: The spinoff that made you laugh the most.
Weirdest Story: The spinoff that made you wonder what was going on.
Most Horrific: The spinoff that made you scared.
Best Non-Story: Something submitted to the group that isn’t a written story, but it’s still really, really good.
Most Helpful Admin: The Admin that you feel has helped either you or the group the most this year.
Most Helpful Member: The member that you feel has helped either you or the group the most this year.
April 2020 Pokeumans Contest: Peace in Our Time.
Hello, Pokeuman writers of all shapes, sizes and affinities! Even though we’re at the end of April, 2020 is a new year full of… well, it’s a year. I think we can all agree on that. At any rate, it is high time we do a new contest. This time, it shall be run by me, Indiscriminate Justice. Formatting will be the same as it always was: contest has a theme, participants write an entry based on that theme, and the judges pick a winner.

Peace between the Pokeumans and Pokextinction.

It’s been a while since we had one of these, and let’s get back to traction with it while we can. This one writing feature will be different from some I have made in the past. This story might be one of the most flawed stories I have taking so far in this writing feature but it’s a story that shows interesting ideas in both it’s good and it’s bad, making it worthy of a learning experience regardless of where you look for.

I have had so very little time this year to read spinoffs and I'm sure that there were a lot of good diamonds I missed. That said, I'd like to nominate 
for most helpful member. She's often posting on the stories of newer writers offering helpful advice, especially those who are having some difficulty getting their first stories done well. Plus, she's a ton of fun.
