Pokemon Showdown Night!

Seeing how many people have responded to the new Gaming Directory (fav.me/d8ya9i9) we decided the community had a clear interest in games that needed to be recognised.

We're going to kick things off with a Pokemon Showdown event on Saturday, July 11 starting from 8pm GMT/3PM EST, and continue the event for the next few hours (so don't worry if you're late!)

Create an account in pokemonshowdown.com, meet with others in our dA chatroom (chat.deviantart.com/chat/Pokeu…) and have fun with casual matchups with other members. Battle with any format, whether it be a Smogon rank, VGC Doubles or even battle with a team your own Pokeuman characters. Casual and competitive players are welcome; just drop in and challenge others as you like. Make sure to save replays of some battles for the memories and for those who can't attend!

Random ninja Riolu edit: Just some random clarifications that I wanted to add. I'll probably be around from earlier, trying to get a proper Pokéumans room on PS itself (the main place to get things organized will still be the Pokéumans chat on Skype, most probably, though), so people is welcome to join in at any time if they can't make it for the proper start. That being said, you are still most welcome to join just to watch battles if for whatever reason you don't feel like battling. I'll also be around ranting about strategies. That last thing is more of a warning /shot xD
